Binter Canarias recovers inter-island flight operations

26 July, 2023

Binter Canarias has recovered one of the historic companies of its organisation, the airline Naysa (Navegación y Servicios Aéreos Canarios, SA), which will be in charge of operating inter-island flights in the Canary Islands with the ATR turboprop fleet, together with Canair.

Binter operates an average of 210 flights a day covering the routes between the different islands of the Canary Islands, and the incorporation of Naysa will allow it to have another operator specialising in the domestic market, which will be responsible for maintaining the high levels of service and customer care in the Canary Islands.

With the recovery of this operator, founded in 1968 and which formed part of the Binter system between 2007 and 2018, there are now 16 companies specialising in different areas of the air sector that make up the group, which employs over 1,800 people.
