Smart Rooms Company opens a new hotel in Seville
2 August, 2023Smart Rooms Company, founded more than 11 years ago, enters Andalusia with its first hotel in Seville, managed under its Uma Suites brand. The recently opened establishment in the city centre, near the Triana Bridge, has 20 rooms, half of which have private outdoor areas.
The building had been operated since 2018 by the same property and in the first quarter of this year negotiations were finalised for Smart Rooms Company to manage it. In fact, its owner, Rocío Ustaran, has recognised that “it’s not easy to choose in whose hands you’re going to put the business you’ve created with so much enthusiasm and which represents an important part of your assets and income”.
The key to Smart Rooms’ growth, according to its CEO and one of the founders, Oriol Serra, “has been to have a portfolio of lifestyle brands with which we manage different types of accommodation allowing us to incorporate a wider range of new opportunities as well as optimising the profitability of our clients’ buildings by giving prestige to their assets, guaranteeing that they are well maintained”.
