New boutique hotel opens in the north of Formentera
30 August, 2023The Universal Beach Hotels chain has announced the opening of the Mar Suites Formentera. The new complex has 31 studios and suites, 15 suites with a private pool, as well as 16 Sky Suites and a Grand Sky Suite with a jacuzzi. It also has a private beach club for guests, with sun loungers, relaxing music and a sophisticated gastronomic offer.
The choice of Formentera as the destination for its first hotel outside Mallorca is due to the fact that “our new hotel concept fits perfectly on this island, where beach clubs and trendy bars abound, always in contact with nature. The island has its own style and fits perfectly with our philosophy of high-quality tourism for nature lovers,” underlined Yannik Erhart, CEO of Universal Beach Hotels.
The hotel is located just outside the village of Es Pujols on the north coast of Formentera, giving guests access to the beaches of Llevant and Punta Prima. Es Pujols has also become one of the island’s main tourist areas, with numerous cafes, restaurants and nightclubs, offering both seclusion and absolute relaxation, as well as entertainment and a wide range of leisure activities.
