New 5* hotel-spa opens one hour from Madrid
11 October, 2023The Castilla Termal chain has opened a 5-star hotel in Brihuega (Guadalajara), thus becoming its first establishment in Castilla-La Mancha and the second of the highest category after the Monasterio de Valbuena, in the province of Valladolid. They will not be the only ones since in its expansion strategy it is definitely counting on high-end hotels, with a greater capacity to attract international tourism.
Castilla Termal Brihuega is located less than an hour from Madrid, in the town of the same name in the province of Alcarria, in the former 18th century Royal Cloth Factory. It has 78 rooms of different categories, between 25 and 53m2. In addition, there is a wellness area with a large thermal pool, jacuzzi, outdoor pool and 11 treatment cabins.
The gastronomic area of the Castilla Termal Brihuega has an exclusive à la carte restaurant with traditional and modern cuisine, prepared with the highest quality products from La Alcarria. Brihuega, in the heart of the region of La Alcarria, is known as the Spanish Provence because of its extensive lavender fields, the setting for the music festival organised every year to coincide with its flowering.
