Benidorm’s iconic 4* hotel reopens after refurbishment
18 October, 2023The Barceló Benidorm Beach Hotel (formerly Selomar), owned by Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), has just reopened after a 27-million-euro refurbishment. The repositioning of this 4-star superior establishment includes a lifestyle offer aimed at adults.
The Barceló Benidorm Beach, which has been upgraded from 3 to 4 stars superior, is located on the seafront of Levante beach. The hotel has 264 rooms that have been renovated and furnished in accordance with the quality standards of the new category. As well as improving the rooms and facilities in general, an upgrade of the gastronomic and leisure offer was carried out.
Specifically, the hotel now has ‘La Santa María Gastrobar’, a gastronomic project of Barceló Hotel Group already present in the company’s other hotels offering a concept of ‘travelling tapas’; a buffet restaurant specialising in Mediterranean gastronomy; a lobby bar and the ‘B-Heaven rooftop bar’ located on the top floor of the hotel, with a pool and solarium.
