FITUR 2024 will boost sports tourism with more exposure and content
25 October, 2023FITUR Sports 2024, the specialised section of the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) to be held from 24 to 28 January at the Madrid exhibition centre, organised by IFEMA MADRID, will expand its format and content to contribute even more to the development of sports tourism which has great potential.
The first edition already exceeded all expectations in terms of participation, with 33 speakers, 9 sponsors, 18 sports professional partners and over 250 attendees, confirming the growing importance of sports tourism in Spain and worldwide. Now, FITUR Sports 2024 will expand its format and content to contribute even more to the development of the sector’s potential.
From the single full day with which it debuted in 2023, FITUR Sports 2024 will now have three days of professional sessions, from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 January, with presentations and round tables featuring experts in tourism and sport. Another new feature will be an area dedicated to networking, exhibitions and business meetings.
