Turespaña presents its tourism sustainability awards at WTM
25 October, 2023Turespaña will have a strong presence at WTM 2023. From its stand (N5-200) on Tuesday 7 November at 11:30 AM it will present the awards to the tour operators highlighted for their commitment to sustainability. The Spanish tourism promotion body has been collecting thousands of votes since August.
In this case, the finalists are: Audley, Byway, Exodus Travels, Explore!, G Adventures, HF Holidays, Inntravel, Inspire, Intrepid, KE Adventure Travel, Kuoni, Much Better Adventures, Pura Aventura, Ramblers Walking Holidays, Sunvil and Trafalgar.
At the festive event that will follow, attendees will be able to network with the Turespaña Tourism Office in London, as well as with the different Spanish destinations, tour operators and the most relevant media.
In addition, in a room at the Turespaña stand (again on Tuesday 7th, but at 10:30 am), there will also be a presentation (simultaneously in English and Spanish) of a report on the new sustainability regulations in the UK. This will describe the changing climate and environmental regulations and their impact on Spanish tourism providers.
