A promotional video of Madrid wins three international awards
1 November, 2023Madrid City Council’s latest tourism promotion video is gaining international recognition. “Madrid es chulo” [Madrid is great], produced by the Delegate Tourism Department to showcase the unique attractions of the Spanish capital to its visitors, has just won third place in The Best Tourist Destination 2023-City category at the 12th Zagreb Tourism Film Festival.
The piece was previously awarded at the Terres Travel Festival (Tortosa), where it won first prize in the Gold in Tourism Destination City category. It also won second place at The Blue Danube Awards in the City Promotion category at the Silafest - Silver Lake Tourfilm Festival in Veliko Gradište (Serbia).
Thanks to these three awards, the City Council’s tourism video, which premiered at the last edition of the Madrid International Tourism Fair (FITUR), is now ranked number four in the ranking of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) as one of the best tourism videos in the city category.
