The keys to enjoying active tourism in Palma this autumn

8 November, 2023

This autumn, Palma is promoting itself as a destination for active tourism. To this end, it is publicising the many activities that can be enjoyed in the Balearic capital over the coming months, starting with outdoor sports, especially running, golf and cycling, but you can also take pleasant strolls taking advantage of the excellent climate.

The seafront promenade and the bay of Palma offer urban routes, with views of the sea and accessible from the old town. The most popular - and the closest to the city centre - is the one that links Porto Pi and the fishing district of Portixol. Not forgetting Bellver Park, the green lung of the city and ideal for trail running.

Golf lovers can choose from five golf courses, all with 18-hole courses and very close to the city centre and Playa de Palma. Hiking enthusiasts can follow the Coastal Route, classified as a Blue Trail; in other words, it contributes to the dissemination and preservation of sustainable values.
