Ocean Drive to open an urban hotel in the heart of Seville in 2024
22 November, 2023OD Group has announced that in April 2024 they will make their debut in Seville, opening a hotel in a crucial point of the city: Las Setas. The Ocean Drive Sevilla will be located in the Encarnación neighbourhood, next to the square designed by the Berlin architect Jürgen Mayer and the city’s main attractions, the cathedral, the Royal Alcazars and Calle Tetuán.
The hotel will have 49 rooms and will combine Andalusian tradition with Mediterranean freshness. The architecture has been developed by the dAAr studio and the interior design has been carried out by the group’s interior designers. The lobby of the Ocean Drive Sevilla will be open to the city and will give way to a restaurant with traditional local cuisine and a coastal air.
In a recent interview, Marc Rahola Matutes, CEO and founder of the group, confirmed that an Ocean Drive hotel was scheduled to open in Seville and another in Malaga in 2024. In fact, the expansion plan planned by OD Group for the coming years, also includes destinations such as Ibiza and London.
