An urban hotel in Palma obtains the sustainability certificate
29 November, 2023In November, Nivia Born Boutique Hotel 5*, located on Paseo del Born, became the first urban hotel in Palma to obtain the prestigious international Travelife Gold for Accommodation Sustainability certification. Travelife Gold Certified accommodations confirm their commitment to helping create better places to live, work and visit in the destination.
“Putting Palma on the map of sustainable urban destinations in Travelife has been a challenge for our entire team that fills us with satisfaction, especially from the point of view of clients and marketers. Just like on previous occasions, we hope to lead the way for other unique hotels and chains in the city to follow our example,” said Magda Ramis, Executive VP of Garden Hotels.
Travelife is a global accommodation sustainability certification body, respected for its impartiality, rigorous requirements that are recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) which addresses carbon emissions, biodiversity, human rights, labour rights, child protection and animal welfare.
