R2 opens a hotel and apartment complex in Fuerteventura
29 November, 2023The R2 Buganvilla Hotels & Spa, the sixth R2 Hotels establishment in Fuerteventura, opened its doors in early November. An apartment complex in the same destination is scheduled to open at the end of the year. The all-inclusive hotel is located on the beachfront in Morro Jable and has 254 rooms spread over six floors.
The R2 Buganvilla Hotels & Spa has a buffet restaurant with terrace and à la carte restaurant, spa with indoor pool and gym. The complex includes a large swimming pool and a heated children’s pool in winter, a terrace and a pool bar facing the sea. The chain is present in Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and Mallorca, with a strong expansion project in the main beach destinations in Spain.
By adding the R2 Buganvilla and the R2 Higos Beach Apartments, which will open at the end of 2023, the chain has 12 establishments and 4,000 beds. Last year, R2 Hotels had a turnover of 44.68 million euros, ranking 58th in the Hosteltur ranking of turnover of large hotel chains.
