Spain’s 5 most expensive ski resorts in 2024
24 January, 2024The ski season has already started and all the resorts in Spain are operating at full capacity. But which destinations are the most expensive for this winter season? Holidu, the booking platform, has presented a list which analyses which ski destinations are the most expensive.
In order to draw up the ranking, resorts with more than 20 kilometres of slopes have been considered. And to establish the 2023/2024 ski price index, the price of the ski pass per day at these facilities, which are grouped around the Atudem association, was taken into account, as well as accommodation.
The highest average per person per day, taking into account a ski pass and accommodation, is in Baqueira Beret (€160). In the ski resort located in the Catalan Pyrenees, the price of a daily ski pass is €62 and accommodation is around €98 per person per night. The total skiable area is 165 kilometres, so the cost per km is €1.06.
