Spain commits to accessibility in wine tourism

28 February, 2024

The organisation Impulsa Igualdad has held the conference “TUR4all IMPULSA: Innovation and accessibility in tourism”. Some of the projects on accessible tourism being carried out by the organisation were presented. The Barceló ImpactHUB in Madrid hosted prominent professionals who presented examples of good practices and pioneering initiatives in the tourism sector.

One of these, carried out in collaboration with the Secretary of State for Tourism (SETUR), ACEVIN and Wine Routes of Spain, is the “Guide of good practices of accessible wine tourism in the wine routes of Spain”, a tool that is considered important to highlight the work that the tourist resources of the Wine Routes of Spain carry out to develop accessible wine tourism.

The “Manual for the improvement of universal accessibility in wine tourism” was also presented, whereby the entity seeks to advise companies associated with the route on how to take the first steps to improve universal accessibility, information and customer service with accessibility needs in their establishments.
