Magic Pirates Island, Benidorm’s new resort
6 March, 2024Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca will take a new step in their collaboration, following the acquisition and repositioning of the former Marina d’Or (now renamed Magic World), with a themed resort in Benidorm and will open its doors in the summer of 2025. Magic Pirates Island will be a family complex with facilities and cabins inspired by pirate legends.
The new resort will be located next to the Terra Natura and Aqua Natura leisure parks, and will occupy an area of around 32,000 m2. The project envisages around 270 themed cabins inspired by pirate legends. These constructions will form part of a large complex equipped with the latest leisure technology which will offer immersive experiences.
And the area will be equipped with pool cabins, entertainment areas and new bars and restaurants. Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca, with a 50% investment in the resort, have described the start of construction as “very positive news for the economy and tourism on the Costa Blanca”, as it is estimated that the resort will create over 200 jobs for the area.
