Meliá will open its 4th luxury hotel in Madrid in the spring
6 March, 2024Meliá Hotels International has announced the opening in May of its first Meliá Collection hotel in Madrid. The project is the result of the transformation of the former Hotel Madrid Atocha, Affiliated by Meliá, with an unbeatable location in the capital's well-known Las Letras district. The hotel will be renamed “Casa de las Artes, Member of Meliá Collection”.
The 137-room hotel will feature an innovative restaurant theatre concept, where guests will not only be able to savour exquisite flavours but will also be part of a live show that comes to life around them. Its common areas also include a welcoming library that invites you to relax among its bookshelves, a cinema room for private screenings, a landscaped inner courtyard with a glass roof and a thermal pool where you can relax at any time of the year.
And it will be equipped with a complete fitness centre and will have several meeting rooms, enveloped in elegance and versatility. Specifically, the hotel is located between Calle Atocha, one of the main arteries of the city centre and the picturesque Calle Moratín, known for its antique shops and bookshops.
