Tourists will be able to use almost 2,400 P.O. as left-luggage offices
10 April, 2024Spain's postal communications agency, Correos, has announced a new initiative to make its 2,388 offices in Spain available for left-luggage storage. The public company will provide this service to any tourist who wants to store suitcases or other personal belongings allowed by the service. They shall remain in secure storage and safekeeping for up to 15 days.
The service can be contracted at any of the logistics company's offices and the fee varies according to the weight of the packages - which must be tightly closed to ensure that their contents cannot be accessed - and the duration of the deposit. In accordance with the applicable regulations, jewellery, valuables and other inadmissible contents may not be left in the locker.
According to the company in a note, to use this new service you just need to fill in a form and make a deposit for the time required. Likewise, the customer may withdraw the objects deposited in the luggage room at any time, even if the contracted time has not expired.
