London Southend adds new air seats with Gran Canaria
12 June, 2024The British airline EasyJet has announced that it will open a new base at London Southend International Airport and has started operating a new route to Gran Canaria from this location, which began this spring and will continue throughout the summer months.
The island destination will have an increase in connectivity and will be part of the commitment, which is reduced as only six routes have been announced, with Gran Canaria being the only one in Spain. Flights commenced on 1 May and customers can now book flights via the UK airline’s website.
The increase in travel options and routes opened up in recent years is allowing lower prices and costs to go to Gran Canaria on holidays, benefitting the destination because customers have a larger budget to spend during their stay.
