Rafa Nadal and Meliá’s new hotel opens on the Costa Brava
3 July, 2024The second hotel of the ZEL brand, launched in 2022 by Meliá Hotels International and tennis player Rafa Nadal, was formally inaugurated in mid-June. The resort, owned by the Azora fund, opens its doors in the middle of nature, a short distance from Tossa de Mar, on the Catalan Costa Brava.
“I loved the ZEL Costa Brava as soon as I saw it: its architecture integrated into nature and the interior design work carried out to adapt it to the ZEL philosophy, have resulted in an iconic and unique hotel where I hope to have very nice times in the future”, said Rafa Nadal, at the opening of the establishment.
The hotel is located in Cala Giverola, 33 km from Girona-Costa Brava International Airport and 109 km from Barcelona Airport. The hotel has 214 rooms and suites, divided into various categories of 1, 2 and 3 rooms called Suites, Junior Suites, Casa ZEL and Duplex, all with views of the sea, mountains or gardens.
