EasyHotel prepares to open a second hotel in Madrid
14 August, 2024The easyHotel chain has announced the purchase of an asset in Madrid that will open its doors during the spring of 2025, making it the second hotel in the capital and its seventh in Spain. The establishment is currently under construction, giving a new life to a former office block.
The hotel is located in the San Blas-Canillejas district of the capital, and will have 94 rooms, a breakfast restaurant and an outdoor terrace where continental buffet breakfasts will be served, and a car park for 30 vehicles, including some spaces with electric chargers.
The chain currently has hotels in Madrid Centro Atocha, Barcelona Fira and Malaga, to which it will add future developments in Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona Meridiana in the coming years. In the words of the company’s CEO, the intention is to grow in the region, so “we continue to explore many more opportunities, both in terms of ownership, leasing and franchising”.
