A new hotel themed on pirate legends to open in Benidorm
11 September, 2024Magic Pirates Island, the new project of Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca, following the purchase and repositioning of the former Matina d'Or, will open its doors on 30 April 2025. The resort promises an immersive pirate-themed experience that will add value to the Benidorm destination.
Work on this new complex has been underway since January 2024 and covers about 32,000 m2. The investment will be shared 50/50 between Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca and they hope to create over 200 jobs and new leisure and relaxation attractions for the area.
“With the launch and confirmation of the announcement of the opening date of 'Magic Pirates Island', we are completing the stages of this new resort which, we hope, will add value and have a positive impact on the economy and employment of the entire Costa Blanca,” said Javier García Cuenca, vice-president of Magic Costa Blanca.
