22 Galician wineries open to the public to attend the grape harvest
25 September, 2024The wineries that make up the Rías Baixas Wine Route in Galicia can be visited during the grape harvest, which takes place at this time of year. In fact, four of its associated wineries allow wine tourists to experience the grape harvest at first hand. They are: in the O Salnés sub-area, Paco & Lola and Mar de Frades; while in the O Condado sub-area there is As Laxas and in the O Rosal sub-area Terras Gauda.
A further 18 wineries are added, including Adega Eidos, As Laxas, Fillaboa, Granbazán, Lagar de Besada, Lagar da Cachada, Lagar de Fornelos, Mar de Frades, Martín Códax, Paco & Lola, Palacio de Fefiñanes, Pazo Baión, Pazo de Rubianes, Señorío de Rubiós, Terra de Asorei, Terras Gauda, Valmiñor, and Vionta, which also make their usual visits during the harvest season.
This allows visitors to see all the movement that takes place in these eighteen wineries during the harvesting of the different native varieties of Rías Baixas. Visiting some of its vineyards, seeing the reception of grapes, destemming... and, of course, finishing off the experience with a wine tasting.
