Magic World will keep accommodation open until December

16 October, 2024

The transformation of Marina d’Or into the renovated Magic World has been a key driver for tourism growth in Castellón (Valencian Community) in 2024. After its first high season, the results show a significant increase in sales, occupancy and profitability, marking a clear trend towards deseasonalisation, as reported by Magic Costa Blanca and Grupo Fuertes.

The balance of the high season is remarkable: the resort has almost doubled the sales volume of its predecessor, reaching 95% more bookings than the previous year. Throughout the months of July to September, Magic World has registered an average occupancy rate of 83.33%, much higher than the 59.66% obtained by Marina d’Or in 2023. This data reflects an increase of 23.67% in occupancy during the summer period.

In terms of turnover, Magic World achieved 81% more revenue in August compared to the same month last year. This increase in demand has been accompanied by a 56% increase in average daily revenue (ADR) from June to September, which has also improved the profitability of the province’s accommodation.
