Jaén has potential as a destination of business tourism
23 October, 2024Jaén hosted the 22nd edition of the International Tourism, Sports and Adventure Fair of Andalusia, Tierra Adentro, which was held from 4 to 6 October. This event, one of the most important in the sector, has served to highlight the province's great capacity to continue growing in the field of tourism.
During the inauguration, Juanma Moreno, president of the Junta de Andalucía, highlighted the importance of this fair, which brings together tourism professionals who, through training, knowledge transfer and the enhancement of heritage, contribute to strengthening the region’s tourism offer.
One of the most eagerly awaited events at the fair was the GastroArte meeting, organised by the Gastronomic Group of Andalusia, in which around 40 national and international travel agents took part. This meeting offers a unique opportunity to promote gastro tourism, with Jaén as the capital of gastronomy.
