Sheraton to open its third Spanish hotel in Madrid

The management company ACHM Hotels by Marriott, will manage the Sheraton hotel that will open its doors at terminal T4 of Barajas-Adolfo Suárez airport, in Valdebebas. The 10,000 m2, 14-storey establishment will have 200 rooms, a swimming pool, gymnasium, meeting rooms and other common areas.

Sheraton, part of Marriott International, joins other international brands that are gaining ground in Madrid. In Spain, the brand is present in Fuerteventura and Mallorca. For its part, ACHM aims to become Marriott’s largest manager in Europe and this property was among the company’s plans. Work will begin at the end of this year and will last 24 months.

Antonio Catalán, President of ACHM Hotels by Marriott, said: “This new milestone is part of an ambitious development plan for ACHM Hotels by Marriott in hotel management”. The consultancy firm Catella was in charge of finding the operator and advising on the closing of the contract.
