Iberia Express was Europe’s most punctual airline in September
30 October, 2024In September, Iberia Express was recognised as the most punctual airline in Europe, according to data from global aviation consultancy Cirium. During that month, the airline operated a total of 3,725 flights, achieving an on-time arrival rate of 85.08%. These results not only consolidate its position as the most punctual airline on the continent, but also place it in fourth place in the world ranking of low-cost airlines.
“September has been a month in which we have reaffirmed our commitment to operational excellence, maintaining punctuality despite the challenges. This achievement is the result of the joint effort of the entire team, and we will continue to work with the same dedication to always be at the same level as our customers,” said Carlos Gómez, CEO of Iberia Express.
It is also worth mentioning that Iberia Express was recognised as Europe’s most punctual airline last year. With an 84.58% on-time arrival rate, the airline topped the European ranking. It also ranked fifth in the world among the most punctual low-cost airlines, according to Cirium’s 'On-time Performance Report', the industry’s annual benchmark report.
