The new literary guided tours of the Alhambra
13 November, 2024In November, the Patronato de la Alhambra launches the programme 'Between books and heritage', a proposal of four literary walks around the monument and the Albaicín based on the plots of books that have Granada as a setting.
The monumental complex, historically the most visited in Spain, thus celebrates the 40th anniversary of the declaration of the Alhambra as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, 30 years in the case of the Albaicín. To commemorate this event, a wide and varied number of activities have been programmed, including premières such as this series of literary itineraries.
The proposal has been designed to visit heritage sites such as the monumental complex itself, the Albaicín and other corners of Granada, routes that are presented by the protagonists of four novels and historical essays.
