Spain in the world’s Top 3 countries with the best air connectivity
13 November, 2024Spain obtains the bronze medal in the ranking of countries with the best international air connectivity, with a growth of 11.5% in the number of seats compared to last year. The United States, followed by the UK, leads the ranking, according to data from the technology company Mabrian, which places Spain in third place.
Mabrian’s ranking, based on data on the availability of air seats on international, direct and one-way flights scheduled through 2024, ranks the 10 countries with the best international air connectivity. The total number of air seats for these 10 countries is equivalent to 43% of the global international air seats scheduled during the 12 months analysed.
Spain is in third position, with an increase of +11.5% year-on-year and a total of 115.7 million seats. Germany is in fourth position and is growing by +8.2%, followed by France, which is increasing its international air seats by +5% compared to 2023.
