27 November, 2024Eurostars Hotel Company has begun work on two new hotels in historic buildings in Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz. The 4-star establishments will open in 2026 under the Áurea and Eurostars brands, respectively. In early November, work began on the restoration and renovation of the Palacio de los Condes de Puerto Hermoso, a neoclassical building of great architectural value located in the historic centre of Jerez de la Frontera, in the heart of the area known as the City of Flamenco. The future boutique hotel will have 4* and 52 rooms, spa and outdoor pool.
And in the heart of the city of Cádiz, very close to the cathedral, the chain will open the Eurostars Casa del Almirante, a 4* hotel built in the baroque palace-house that gives it its name. The building was constructed in the late 17th century by the family of the Admiral of the Fleet of the Indies, Diego de Barrios and is notable for its magnificent façade of Genoa marble.
