WTA: the best independent chain and management company are Spanish

They have all won awards in a new edition of the World Travel Awards, the most notorious tourism awards and are all Spanish companies. Two stand out from the seven.
Barceló, best hotel management company in the world: this award is added to the other recognitions granted by this establishment this year to five of its hotel establishments: Royal Hideaway Sancti Petri (Cádiz), as ‘Best beach resort in Spain’; Royal Hideaway Corales (Tenerife), ‘Best villa with pool in a luxury hotel in Spain’; Barceló Isla Canela (Huelva), ‘Best all-inclusive resort in Spain’; Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento, ‘Best congress hotel in Spain’; and Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, a Royal Hideaway Hotel (Alicante), ‘Best hotel in Spain’.
Kaizen Hoteles, best independent chain in the world: it has beaten four other exclusive chains; this distinction was awarded for the first time to a Spanish company, as well as to its 5-star GL Casa Palacio Don Ramón, as the best boutique hotel in the world.
