IHG to open an ultra-luxury Six Senses branded hotel in Ávila
22 January, 2025Six Senses, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ growing portfolio of luxury and lifestyle properties, has signed a hotel management agreement with the joint venture created by Sidercom and El Enebro, to operate Palacio Quexigal, located on a 100-hectare estate in Ávila with 60 outbuildings, which will open in late 2026.
El Enebro is the holding company of the Álvarez Mezquiriz family, owner of Vega Sicilia and also dedicated to high-end property businesses. It will thus become the brand’s third hotel in Spain, after the Six Senses Ibiza, already operational, and the one in Seville, which will start operating in 2025.
