Work begins on the second phase of the Ibiza Conference Centre

5 February, 2025

Work on the second phase of the Ibiza Conference Centre began in January, giving a boost to a key project to consolidate the city’s position as a benchmark in conference tourism. The work, awarded for €33.78 million, will have a completion period of 30 months and will transform the infrastructure into a modern, multi-purpose space.

The new phase of the project includes an open-plan space of 2,500 m2, with the capacity for flexible configurations, different-sized event rooms, an auditorium with seating for up to 1,000 people and other areas for the organisation of conferences, meetings and exhibitions.

This ambitious expansion will position the Conference Centre as a strategic driver for the development of MICE tourism, attracting visitors and strengthening the local economy. During this phase, a two-storey underground car park will also be built, offering 278 parking spaces for cars, including 14 accessible spaces and 31 for motorbikes.
