A historic building in Granada converted into tourist apartments
12 February, 2025The urban chain U-Sense has increased its presence in Granada with accommodation located in a building from the end of the 19th century, which was abandoned and has been refurbished to adapt to the brand’s standards after changing its residential use.
The company, with nine establishments in Madrid, Seville and Granada, has added the U-Sense Granada Gran Vía Apartments to its portfolio after a comprehensive refurbishment of the historic building. The stately building has been converted from residential use to apartments designed with the intention of being a concept close to a boutique hotel but trying to convey a feeling of home, the chain explains.

Thus, existing elements in the building such as the hydraulic tiles, the entrance door and railings have been restored and the original wooden carpentry has been replicated. The style is based on elements and colours of the local architecture, combining the colours with more contemporary elements and materials such as wood, ceramics, local stone and pieces of art and craftsmanship.
