iryo is committed to inter-modality for its high-speed trains in 2025

12 February, 2025

The private high-speed company iryo has ambitious plans for 2025 to combine its ‘flecha rossa’ trains with all kinds of transport, from road to sea. At Fitur, its CEO Simone Gorini presented a wide range of agreements aimed at promoting inter-modality, including the one signed with Alsa, a major medium and long-distance bus company.

As well as reiterating the role that the carrier is playing in the liberalisation of rail transport in Spain and confirming iryo’s commitment to quality service, Gorini emphasised in his speech that the company’s main tool for achieving this is collaboration agreements with a number of carefully selected partners.

In this vein, during a meeting with the media at the tourism fair held in Madrid, he went on to describe these partnerships, starting with the combination of travel on their high-speed trains with different train, bus or airline operators through the search platform Más destinos iryo-Conecta.
