The 100th Parador will open in Zaragoza in 2026
19 February, 2025The Parador de Veruela (Zaragoza), the 100th establishment of the Spanish state-owned hotel company, is expected to open its doors in the spring of 2026. The president of Paradores, Raquel Sánchez, has visited the facilities in the Zaragoza town of Vera de Moncayo, accompanied by the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, Pilar Alegría.
The chain will invest over €3.5 million to adapt the establishment for hotel use. Veruela will be the fifth parador in Aragon, alongside those in Alcañiz, Bielsa, Sos del Rey Católico and Teruel. Specifically, it will have 80 rooms distributed over four floors and spaces for holding events.

During the visit, Alegría announced that both institutions are working on a collaboration to promote Dual VT with the idea that the paradores can be training centres for students of tourism, hospitality, but also administration and management, commerce and marketing and other professional fields.
