Meliá and Summum to open a new luxury hotel in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca
19 February, 2025The Meliá Hotels International and Summum Hotel Group chains will open their fourth hotel in collaboration in 2026: the Hotel Golf Santa Ponsa (Mallorca), belonging to the Nigorra group, which will be completely refurbished and will operate under the luxury brand The Meliá Collection.
The 88-room superior 4-star hotel is located in the southwest of Mallorca and is surrounded by the Santa Ponsa I golf course (1977, PAR 72), a historic course in the world of Mallorcan golf. Initially opened in 1977, the refurbishment and reopening of the hotel also reflects the commitment to modernising the tourist offer in Santa Ponsa.
In the future hotel The Melia Collection - which will be managed by Summum under the Meliá brand - guests will find a fine dining restaurant, a rooftop bar with panoramic views, a state-of-the-art spa, several pools and modern meeting rooms.
