BQ Hotels strengthens its presence in Mallorca with a 4* hotel
5 March, 2025The BQ Hotels chain has started the year by increasing its portfolio with the purchase of the Bahía Cala Ratjada hotel, which formed part of the R2 Hotels portfolio, owned by Schauinsland Reisen. The establishment is a 4-star hotel, which had been in the hands of the German tour operator since 2016.
The new hotel is a 4-star establishment located in the NE part of Mallorca. It is an adults-only hotel with 119 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool with bar and sun terrace, an indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym and restaurant. The establishment had been refurbished by its former owners to offer an adults-only service.
The Bahía Cala Ratjada hotel was the first that the tour operator Schauinsland Reisen bought in Mallorca, although it managed it before buying the property. Later, R2 Hotels added another two establishments on the island, in Cala Millor.
