Luxury hotel opens in a 15th century palace in Seville

19 March, 2025

A 15th century palace-house, located in the Santa Cruz district of Seville, has been converted into a luxury boutique hotel after an intense renovation that has respected and enhanced the essence of the building. Named La Casa del Limonero, the establishment has 14 rooms distributed over three floors, which have been conceived as small universes with their own identity, according to those in charge.

The hotel, which is itself a museum, both in terms of its history and the architectural elements that define it, has designer furniture and a careful selection of contemporary works of art. In each room you will find creations by artists such as Olga de Amaral, Manolo Valdés, Joana Vasconcelos and Malick Sidibé.

The central courtyard, surrounded by Mudejar arches, the garden with lemon trees (hence its name) and orange trees, the private pool, the hammam and a rooftop terrace with views of Seville’s old town are also worth mentioning.
