97% of international tourists who visited Spain in 2024 were satisfied or very satisfied with their experience, according to the third edition of the International Tourist Satisfaction Survey carried out by Turespaña. The report, based on 20,666 surveys conducted over three months, analyses different aspects of travel, such as accommodation, restaurants, leisure facilities, environment, transport, infrastructure and sustainability.

The percentage of tourists rating their experience as “very satisfactory” reached 66.2%, compared to 65% in 2023 and 62.7% in 2022, representing an improvement of 3.5 points since the first edition of the study.

The reason for travelling with the highest satisfaction level was gastro tourism, with 70% of very positive responses. In terms of visitor loyalty, over 56% of respondents indicated their intention to return to Spain in the next 12 months, with Irish (almost 81%) and British (over 76%) tourists particularly high.
