New hotel The Meliá Collection in Formentera
11 April, 2025Meliá Hotels International has announced the addition of the Five Flowers Hotel & Spa to its luxury brand The Meliá Collection. The 5-star hotel is located just 150 metres from the beach of Es Pujols, in Formentera, and joins the group following a collaboration agreement with Paya Hotels, which will continue to manage the establishment.
Five Flowers Hotel & Spa has 79 hippie-chic rooms, including family options, suites with whirlpool bath on the terrace and the Grand Suite. It also offers meeting spaces, spa, gym and other services designed for its guests’ comfort and relaxation.
This collaboration reinforces, in the words of Meliá's president, Gabriel Escarrer, “our shared commitment to provide exceptional luxury experiences to our guests and to strengthen the positioning of Formentera as a key destination in the Spanish holiday segment”.
The Balearic company Paya Hotels values this union as a natural evolution towards internationalisation, without losing its local identity or its commitment to sustainability on the island.
