Spain retains the title of world’s best hamburger restaurant
23 April, 2025The Spanish chain Hundred Burgers has been chosen, for the second consecutive year, as the best burger restaurant in the world says The World’s Best Burgers guide. The jury highlighted its attention to detail, the intensity of the meaty flavour and the balance achieved with the demi brioche bread. Founded in Valencia in 2020, the brand not only stays at the top of the ranking, but remains the only one outside the United States to reach this position.
Hundred has four stores in Valencia and three in Madrid and operates exclusively with delivery through Glovo. Its founders, Álex González-Urbón and Ezequiel Maldjian, attribute the recognition to their commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The recognition has transcended the gastronomic and some 'free tours' in Valencia already include a stop in front of the restaurant as part of their tourist route.
Two other Spanish hamburger restaurants also appear on the same list: the Valencian Soul Coffee in tenth position, and the Madrid-based Briochef in 17th place, consolidating Spain’s position on the international gourmet hamburger map.
