Puy du Fou Spain prepares to receive 1.7 million tourists
7 May, 2025Puy du Fou Spain has inaugurated its seventh season with the aim of reaching 1.7 million visitors, surpassing the 1.5 million recorded in 2024. The theme park, located in Toledo, continues to diversify its offer and improve its infrastructure in order to consolidate its position as a benchmark in the leisure sector. The forecast is part of a sustained growth strategy that aims to reach 2 million visitors per year within three years.
For this season, the company has earmarked 16 million euros for new facilities and improvements to its shows. Among the novelties is “El Tambor de la Libertad”, an immersive production inspired by the War of Independence, which combines special effects, large-scale scenography and original music composed by Fernando Velázquez. The show, which lasts 30 minutes, is performed in a six-storey, 22-metre high space with a capacity for 3,000 spectators.

In addition, Puy du Fou has revamped its previous productions with new scenes, effects and choreography. The investment has also enabled the improvement of paths, shaded areas and water points, enhancing the visitor experience and preparing the park for a greater flow of tourists.
