After two months of intense work, Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden has reopened its doors with a renewed image and an even more sophisticated luxury offering. The establishment has successfully completed a strategic transformation that has raised its standards of excellence, consolidating its position as a symbol of high-end tourism in the Canary Islands.

The refurbishment, which took place between 18 May and 14 July, included the complete renovation of its rooms and suites, as well as its gastronomic spaces, especially its emblematic restaurant La Parrilla. In addition, the rooms and areas for events, weddings and meetings have been improved, always respecting the essence of the hotel and its harmony with the spectacular gardens that surround it.

This renovation marks the third major update the hotel has undertaken since the pandemic, adding to previous efforts including a comprehensive reform during its 17-month pandemic-related closure, with an investment of six million euros. It reflects the Loro Parque Group’s firm commitment to quality, innovation and service excellence.

The Hotel Botánico has recently been distinguished by FIT Reisen as one of the three best luxury hotels in Europe in 2025. It also received the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice 2025 award, which places it among the top 10% of the best rated hotels worldwide. These awards add to accolades received from TUI, British Airways, Jet2 Holidays, Apolo, and HolidayCheck, among others.
The hotel has also been awarded seven times by Condé Nast Johansens as the Best Hotel with a Spa in Europe and the Mediterranean, and by Schauinsland Reisen as one of its TOP partners, thanks to its outstanding guest satisfaction.
