New openings of Sercotel in Madrid, Castellón and Cádiz
30 July, 2025Sercotel Hotel Group has strengthened its presence in the Spanish market with the opening of three new hotels in Pinto (Madrid), Onda (Castellón) and Chipiona (Cádiz), bringing its total number of establishments in Spain and Andorra to 85. The new additions, all 3 and 4 stars, add up to a total of 249 rooms and respond to the chain’s expansion strategy in urban and coastal destinations.
The Sercotel Las Artes Pinto hotel, with 120 rooms, spa, restaurant and certified with energy rating B, stands out for its sustainable approach thanks to its 255 solar panels. The Sercotel Plana Onda, with 61 rooms, outdoor pool and spa, expands the group’s presence in the Valencian Community. For its part, the Sercotel Cruz del Mar, just a few metres from the beach in Chipiona, offers 68 rooms and an outdoor swimming pool on the rooftop, consolidating Andalusia as the region with the largest presence of the chain.
“These new openings come at a key moment for the sector, coinciding with the high summer season,” said Francisco Marco, Sercotel’s Director of Expansion, who underlines the group's commitment to sustainability, technology and adapting to the current needs of travellers.
