Renfe grows in summer with new trains and key routes
30 July, 2025Renfe has launched its most ambitious programme for the summer season, with more than 22.5 million seats available until 15 September on all its AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed, Intercity, Avant, Media Distancia and AVE International trains. Among the novelties are more series 106 trains on the Galicia-Madrid and León-Madrid routes. New frequencies have also been added between Badajoz and Madrid, two new AVE services between Madrid and Barcelona and a high-speed service without transfer connecting Andalusia with Aragon and Catalonia.

In addition, the most popular routes from Madrid to the north, Andalusia, Valencia and Catalonia have been reinforced with more than 131,000 seats.
Renfe has also broken a new passenger record in the first half of the year, reaching 277.4 million passengers, 3.2% more than in 2024.
