Madrid Pride Parade returns full force in 2022

29 June, 2022

The annual celebration and support of the LGBTIQ+ community is back in full force across the world this year after a pandemic-hit 2020 and 2021, with Madrid Pride Parade undoubtedly one of the best festivals in the world get involved. Events will start on Friday 1 July and won’t stop until Sunday 10 July.

This year, Madrid Pride (MADO) will form part of the celebrations planned by the European Pride Organisers Association (EPOA) to mark the 30th anniversary of the first EuroPride, held in London in 1992.

EPOA has prepared a coordinated programme of events taking place all over the continent, and one of its headline events will be Madrid Pride. MADO has played a big part in the history of EPOA, with two EuroPrides and one WorldPride having taken place in the city.

MADO 2022 has organised an extensive programme of events, activities, demonstrations, celebrations, concerts, and more... a wide and diverse cultural programme that will include a historic International Conference on Human Rights and, of course, the great LGBTIQ+ Pride demonstration, which this year promises to be huge.
