The best ways to discover Las Palmas’ old town
6 July, 2022There are a whole host of different ways tourists can explore and learn more about the history of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, including themed guided tours in the historic centre of Vegueta and Triana, Canarian folklore concerts in Pueblo Canario, or sailing boat rides in the bay.
The main advantage of enjoying a city break in the Gran Canarian capital is the great diversity of attractions the city offers. It’s not just about seeing monuments, historical landmarks or shopping streets, there’s an enormous range of tourist activities and great cultural goings-on for tourists to discover.
One of the best ways to discover the old town is to take part in a themed guided tour. There are also folkloric performances every Sunday in Pueblo Canario, regular music and concerts in Doramas Park, and a fantastic programme of events at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium on Las Canteras Beach.
