Ifema Madrid achieves record levels of MICE with the support of NATO
3 August, 2022Ifema Madrid is enjoying a successful 2022, which is proving to be a very significant year thanks to the organisation’s special role in fostering sustainability. This is partly thanks to the Global Mobility Call, a successful new programme launched this year that consists of six important events. Among them, Genera and the International Energy and Environment Fair stood at us successful examples.
Additionally, the centre also led the way in the return to presential congresses on both a national and international level. During the first semester of 2022, more than 20,000 professionals from all over the world attended one of the 6 congresses held at
Ifema’s specialised facilities.
These include the Heart Failure Congress, held by the European Society of Cardiology; the World ATM Congress, the largest air navigation event, and the Ibero-Latin American Dermatology Congress. These events reaffirmed Ifema Madrid's reputation as the best congress venue in Europe.
The semester closed with two very unique events. Firstly, the World Dog Show, which is the world's largest competition for dog breeders attended by more than 55,000 people and featuring the participation of more than 16,500 dogs. And to round off such prestigious events, the NATO Summit, which brought together the most important world leaders in a historic meeting.
