4 out of 10 of the best chefs in the world are Spanish
12 October, 2022The panorama of haute cuisine has been revolutionised for years, and, here, Spain is increasingly better represented with chefs and restaurants of the best possible quality. Without going any further, The Best Chef Awards highlights the fact that the first and third places correspond to great Spanish chefs, such as Dabiz Muñoz [in the photo], from the DiverXO restaurant (Madrid) and Joan Roca, from The Celler de Can Roca, Girona.
Moreover, fifth place goes to Antoni Luis Aduriz, from Mugaritz (Rentería, Guipúzcoa), while Eduard Xatruch is in seventh place, along with Oriol Castro and Mateu Casañas, all of them from Disfrutar (Barcelona). This shows that a total of 4 Spanish chefs are in the Top 10 worldwide.
But, in addition, there are still nine other Spanish chefs in the rest of the Top 50.
