What Iberostar has achieved after a year of digitalisation

The Spanish hotel chain Iberostar launched its innovation strategy a year ago: Hotel Digital. An open action plan to contribute to the transformation of the whole sector. What has it achieved since then? The result: seven scalable products in just one year.

  • eGuest Manager: It unites all the client's processes with the hotel on a single platform to really put them at the centre.
  • Chromecast: Guests can play the content of their devices on the TV in their room.
  • Web check in: This streamlines the process by making it easier to scan client documentation and leave their digital signature from any device before arriving at the hotel.
  • Iberostar’s corporate channel: In the room, better communication with clients.
  • Geo-localisation of routes: Within the complexes, guests can be guided from the Iberostar app.
  • Zero Waste: analysis of waste generated in hotels, in order to reduce it and optimise resources.
  • Checking employee presence: Through fingerprints.
